Chapeltown Silver Prize Band are delighted to announce two new signings as we move into 2022.
We welcome Emily Holian on 1st Horn and Mick Bellfield who is taking the helm as Principal Cornet.
Emily moved to Sheffield in September from Liverpool where she played with the Formby Band and Mick most recently played on the top chair with the Shirebrook Miners Welfare Band.
Both players join with a wealth of brass band experience and bring great quality to their respective sections and the band as a whole.
Emily has already made a huge impact within the band with her commitment, personality and playing alike. Mick joined us on stage at our recent concert in the Thomas Chambers Newton Hall and equally highlighted his ability, passion and drive.
The band extend a warm welcome to both players and look forward to 2022 and beyond.
