The Band are delighted to have received a cheque donation of £300 from the Asda Foundation. We had been scheduled to be a nominated cause in the Chapeltown Asda Superstore green token giving scheme. Unfortunately due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, it has not been possible for the green token scheme to be available for customers to select their cause to support as they normally would. Therefore the Asda Foundation very generously decided to make a donation to each of the causes that had been nominated for the current round of selection.
The Band would like to thank the Asda Foundation, the Asda Superstore at Chapeltown, Susan their Community Life Champion and all their customers and staff for their generosity and continued support, it really is appreciated, during these difficult times.
