Due to the continuing Coronavirus pandemic and the ongoing restrictions, regrettably we have had to take the decision to cancel the Proms Concert scheduled to be held at the Newton Hall on Friday 26th June.
Our next scheduled concert at the Newton Hall is the annual Autumn Concert on Friday 16th October, at this point in time we are hoping to use this as the rescheduled Patrons Concert. This is obviously subject to the Government guidelines at that time, particularly in relation to the social distancing measures required for entertainment and indoor venues.
In the meantime, although the band is unable to get together to rehearse, our Musical Director Sam Fisher has issued a number of online tuition videos and lots of music for the band to work on so that we are ready for a quick return once we are back on a normal footing.
The band would like to thank everyone for their continued support and understanding throughout this time. We hope everyone remains safe and well and we look forward to welcoming you to one of our concerts in the near future.
