After a mammoth season of carol playing and Christmas concerts around the local area, Chapeltown Band are (almost) ready for a well-deserved break next week before rehearsals resume in January.
Tomorrow night is your last chance to see the band perform this year as we take to the stage at Chapeltown Methodist Church for a carol service and then onto Chapeltown Royal British Legion for a concert featuring a selection of festive music, carols and soloists for all to enjoy.
A great way to round off a fantastic year for the band, with four podium finishes from four contests, including 2nd place at the National Finals, a win at Bolsover Festival of Brass and being placed at #120 in the world rankings… We’re now looking forward to a successful year to come with some new faces amongst the ranks and a host of exciting events planned for 2020!
