Chapeltown Silver Prize Band are thrilled with a first-class performance yesterday afternoon, coming away with a well-deserved 1st Place in the Second Section at the Bolsover Festival of Brass.
Musical Director, Sam Fisher commented “I’m extremely proud of the band’s performance. With just a handful of rehearsals (due to focusing on the National Finals) they really rose to the occasion and put on a fantastic show, with excellent solo contributions. This result rounds off a successful contest season for the band, with four podium finishes from four contests!”
