The band are delighted with a fantastic 2nd place result in the Second Section at the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain over the weekend.
Musical Director, Sam Fisher commented “I’m thrilled with the result and was extremely happy with how the band played. We are achieving some consistency now, with 4 podium finishes in our last 5 set-piece contests. Onwards and upwards!”
Congratulations to all at South Yorkshire Police Band for their victory, meaning both 1st and 2nd place in the Second Section Finals were awarded to Yorkshire bands!
